Looking for a sweatproof SPF? We put them to the test during a heatwave – these are the ones that passed

“Sunscreen, by its very nature, used to be thick, cakey and greasy. However, SPFs have come a long way since then; you can get tinted ones that double up as make-up and invisible ones that are undetectable, but there’s still one category I always struggle with: sweatproof sunscreens,” says Charlotte Bitmead, Stylist’s senior beauty writer.

“That’s why the Stylist beauty team put a variety of SPFs to the test during the latest heatwave, so you can invest in one that actually delivers. Out of the creams we tested, these were the ones that didn’t have us breaking a sweat on the Central line on a 34°C day.”

Sky blue and chocolate brown are a match made in heaven: 9 pieces to fill your home with the trending combo

If you’ve been looking for some new pieces to fill your home with, you may have noticed two colours popping up again and again. Sky blue and chocolate brown both feature heavily in fashion and homeware for spring/summer 2026, and for good reason. Sky blue is quite literally the backdrop colour to all your favourite summer memories; meanwhile, chocolate brown has been on every stylish person’s radar since last year as a rich, grown-up neutral that packs much more oomph than beige or grey.

What’s most exciting about these two trending colours, though, is that they look even better when paired together. So, we found nine pieces for the home that bring the two colours together for the ultimate homeware update. You’re welcome.
